I came across this camera sitting in the corner of an office I visited.
I kind of felt sorry for it. I only hope that it got to take some great shots in its earlier life before it came to the end of the road.
An idea!
About ten years ago, I started losing my hair. Recently, I think I have figured it out… my hair didn???t fall off, instead it has just slowly seeped through my head and now comes out of my ears, nose and face instead. One of the adverse effects of gravity.
Anyway, this barber shop in Winchester seems to have the solution. No doubt they hang the clients upside down, reversing the gravitational pull and hey presto, a full head of hair again! They were closed when I came across them, but I will be going back again. I will keep you posted!

Geoff drumming up a storm
I saw a band play with Geoff Dunn on the drums a couple of weeks back. He was absolutely awesome.
I took this photograph of him beating away on his kit. It was an open air concert on a very pleasant summer evening and he really made it rock.

The paint splattered tap
I took this photograph in a friend???s old studio last year. He was moving out and we discovered this tap which had been hidden behind a stack of boxes. It has been splattered with paint from several paintjobs and I am certain it had not run for ages.
I resisted the strong urge I had to see if anything would happen if I turned the handle.

The strange spider
This is a photograph from a few years ago. I came across this four legged spider that was skilfully wrapping a fly that got trapped in its web. The fly ended up in a tight cocoon made out of web strands; I am sure it served as a tasty meal later on.
I went away wondering why the spider only had four legs. The spider did not look or act like it had been injured. Is there a breed of spider with just four legs?
I would have done some more investigating, but I actually do not like spiders very much. Taking a photograph of one is an achievement in itself!
