This is a picture I took a few years ago.
The smell of coffee would slowly fill the air, getting stronger as the percolator brewed.
Soon the gentle sound of a teaspoon stirring in a cup of coffee would make way for the newscaster’s voice on the television, the clatter of the letterbox as the postman pushes letters through the door, the squeaky ironing board and the hurried footsteps of someone trying to get ready…

I started off the day with that ever recurring thought about life and the meaning of life.
I did not come up with any new answers and settled for my usual conclusion that “life is what you make it”.
I took this photo of a message left on a wall at Daytona Beach, Florida a couple of years ago. I do not know the author but I guess he or she was not having the best of days!

My name is Lande and I am in London, UK. Today is an overcast day and looking out the window, it looks rather dull and gloomy.
At the end of June this year, I was on a beach in Dorset, Poole on a lovely summer day. Sitting there, I took this photo. I can remember the sound of the waves further down the beach, the warmth of the sunshine on the day and sound as the wind blew through the grass.
