The paint splattered tap
I took this photograph in a friend???s old studio last year. He was moving out and we discovered this tap which had been hidden behind a stack of boxes. It has been splattered with paint from several paintjobs and I am certain it had not run for ages.
I resisted the strong urge I had to see if anything would happen if I turned the handle.

The old lamp
I have a bunch of photographs of random stuff I have taken while trying out a lens or camera setting.
This is one such photograph…

My old saxophone
I will tell the story behind this another day.

Working outside
This is from an equally nice day as today in 2004.
I was working outside under the canopy of the tree. I took this picture looking up at it.

Copying nature
Yesterday???s passing cloud reminded me so much of something I had seen recently seen but I couldn???t remember what at the time.
It finally came to me early this morning and I am rather glad I took this photograph of a light in a restaurant lobby a few weeks ago. The waitress thought I was a bit odd, but politely didn???t say anything.
