My photographs are records of moments in time that I have captured in our ever moving and changing world. Some are momentous while others are just whimsical shots of things that have caught my eye. Although I use digital cameras, I work as though I were using film; I rarely use post production other than adjusting light, colour and framing. I pride myself on being able to fully capture the moment at the point of shooting. Enjoy.

The end of the road

I came across this camera sitting in the corner of an office I visited. I kind of felt sorry for it. I only hope that it got to take some great shots in its earlier life before it came to the end of the road.

I took this photograph in a friend???s old studio last year. He was moving out and we discovered this tap which had been hidden behind a stack of boxes. It has been splattered with paint from several paintjobs and I am certain it had not run for ages. I resisted the strong urge I had [...]

The strange spider

This is a photograph from a few years ago. I came across this four legged spider that was skilfully wrapping a fly that got trapped in its web. The fly ended up in a tight cocoon made out of web strands; I am sure it served as a tasty meal later on. I went away [...]
